Both my husband John and I share a life time passion for travel. From our childhoods, both our parents exposed us to the joys in life that travel provides and expanded our horizons by showing each of us the wonders of this country and of the world. As adults, we both expanded on this passion for travel by traveling the world for both business and pleasure. From climbing in the Alps, to a historic tour of England, to sampling different exotic foods in an open market in Asia, to an Alaska cruise; each trip continued to expand our horizons and helped us to grow, both professionally and personally.
One of the reasons we were able to enjoy our many vacations, as we developed busy but rewarding careers, was we had a trusted professional travel consultant. Being time consumed entrepreneurs who still wanted to enjoy exploring the world with our limited free time, we relished the personnel service and attention to details our travel consultant provided. The results were always personalized trips that were fondly enjoyed and remembered; and maybe more importantly, our limited vacation and travel time was well spent.
Unfortunately, the passion for travel and adventure had to take a back seat for a while to the demands of a growing multi-million dollar business and starting a family. When we decided to share the passion of travel with our young boys, we found the world of the travel professional to be filled with nothing but the “McTravel” agencies both storefront and online. We sometimes felt like we were offered the “deal of the day”, a cruise that didn’t fit our agenda, or given a bunch of brochures and told to call when we picked something out. We wanted an advisor, but what we found were just order takers.
This is the reason that after successfully selling our business, we created this new venture. We want to help discerning people and families like yourselves.
